SOS Alerts

A new set of features collectively known as "SOS Alerts" has been added to Google's Search and Maps services to provide information during major natural, manmade, or humanitarian disasters providing everyone with news, maps, updates from local authorities, emergency resources, donation opportunities, and more. Also included are "Public Alerts" that help authorities communicate emergency messages specifically related to official weather, public safety, and earthquake alerts.
