Since our raised herb garden fell apart last year, Chef Elaine instead potted some of our most used herbs. As, at least, partially shown below, we have rosemary, dill, parsley, "mammoth" jalapeno pepper, and three basil plants. These all get near-full sun as our house runs east-to-west and there are not many trees that get in the way in the summertime. Maybe the nicest benefit of the new location is that it's only a few steps from the kitchen, making it really handy to clip off a few leaves when making a recipe. Having the hose a couple of feet away (it's below the small window) makes watering the pots that much easier.
