Making Transparent Images

A transparent image is one where its background is removed so when you drop it on a another background, that color shows through, like the left "8" below, which is a much more professional look than the right "8".  To find transparent images, just add "transparent" to your Google image search. If you already have a non-transparent image, you can remove a color from the image, like the white below, to make it transparent. Options abound, but this online tool seems simple enough.
