Again I found a feature on our Infiniti G37x that escaped my attention for over six years. Buried at the back of the glove compartment, shown below, is a switch that will prevent the truck lid from opening. The reason it's located here is that you can lock the glove compartment using the mechanical key that's located in the key fob. This is handy when valet parking the car when there are valuables in the trunk.
