Now that we're storing the much larger Infiniti QX60 in the garage, I had to get rid of a metal ladder that was my guard against banging the driver's door against the very rough concrete block wall. I bought a pair of car door protectors from Amazon (the link below), removed the adhesive backing, and pressed them against the garage wall at the point where the door would contact the wall which you can see in the picture below. Door saved.
