Google Got Gas

Some of those Google Cars that take pictures for Street View maps, in partnership with the Environmental Defense Fund, Colorado State University and Utility companies, have been fitted with air quality detectors, so as they perform their mapping duties they also collect information on gas leaks.  They've only mapped a few cities so far, and Boston, with its older pipes, unsurprisingly has the most leaks.
