Over The Clouds

Here's a morning view out of one of my recent United flights from Dayton to Chicago.  Being on top of the clouds has always been a bit magical, and very peaceful, to me.

Pot-Sized Spaghetti

Half-length pasta, which neatly fits into a normal-sized pot of boiling water.  And I'll no longer need to break my spaghetti in half, or half to clean up the small mess I make in doing so.  Simply a dream come true.

Electrical Cord Storage

Re-purpose (i.e. I love free) your used paper towel cardboard tubes to store extension cords where they can't mate with other cords to make a tangled mess.  

Slim Keyboard

Life's too short for a bad keyboard, such as the one on my work PC.  My less than $22 answer is this Kensington Advance Fit Full-Size Slim Keyboard which has so far impressed.

Chrome Cleanup Tool

Here's a quick and easy tool from Google to check your Chrome browser for potential problems.  Just download and run.  At the end you will have the chance to reset your browser settings, probably not what you want unless you're having severe problems.

Predictably Irrational

Predictably Irrational is one of the best books I've read in a long time, filled with experimental-based conclusions on our odd human behaviors, including why "free" is so powerful, social versus economic drivers and effects, and the power of instant gratification.

A Google search with just "temp" is a quick way to bring up your local details.  Easy is good.

More Two-Factor Authentications

I've recently added two-factor authentication for my Amazon and Dropbox accounts.   After it's setup, I just enter, one time, the 6-digit code displayed by my Google Authenticator app on any new device, and I'm doubly protected.

Mushroom Farmer

I expected to get a bunch of little mushrooms growing from this mini farm, but got one huge, and still growing, monster.  Still growing a mushroom in a cardboard box is pretty cool.
