These beauties started with a desire for waffles loaded with butter and maple syrup. Then topping that with an over-easy fried egg sounded like a nice addition. Since I was making my wife a sandwich that morning which included sausage patties, well, that sounded like a tasty crown to top the egg topper. Washing it down with orange juice just seemed appropriate.
