Fried Brie Sandwich

If you're thinking I may have overdone the thick pieces of Brie cheese or the amount of butter I used on the bread to ensure proper frying, just remind yourself that no chef was ever fired for too much cheese, butter, bacon, or other ingredients that make life worth living.  While the recipe at the link below used some leftover cranberry-orange sauce, I used some long-leftover cherry preserves that had been hiding out in the fridge for years.  But anything sweet will cut the fattiness of the cheese and make a well-balanced and warming sandwich as winter approaches.
