The cover shown below includes a couple of velcro straps but they are never enough to prevent a good gust of wind from separating it from the body of the firepit. The $10 solution was a 10-foot-long, one-inch-wide piece of velcro I purchased from Amazon at the link below. I wrapped it tight around the cover, cut it so there was a one-foot overlap, and presto, I don't think this cover is coming off with the next gust.
