One of the coolest views of the Dayton skyline comes from the perch that is Lookout Terrace at Woodland Cemetery, located across Stewert Street from the University of Dayton. From there you're looking to the northwest and are high enough to put the treetops at the bottom of your view.
Walking through Woodland is a history lesson from the Civil War forward and helps explain where so many of our local street names came from. It's a hilly walk, but worth the extra effort.
