Another neighbor has learned what we found out several years ago ... squirrels love pumpkins. All that hard work and creativity for naught. We've simply stopped buying pumpkins feeding the little critters, but part of me wants to cover a pumpkin with a sticky blend of maple syrup and ghost pepper chili powder and see if that might deter their appetite. Or maybe light up their little squirrel mouths... hee hee.
