Sorry, this is not for iPhone users, just us Android-loyal folk.
I've had Android smartphones for as long as I can remember, and it took me over a decade to accidentally find this feature that I really love. I have a few apps, mostly financial, that I want to log off when I'm finished, but finding where that option is located — which is, of course, different in each app — takes some time. But I found that I can just swipe from the left edge of the screen to the right, or the right edge to the left, and that directly brings up the confirmation message you see below. Nice time saver.
